How County Interiors will approach designing your Bathroom

There are a few things below that we'll think about, but this is just the basics. We'll make sure every detail is covered in our free, thorough design service.

Clutter...is the one thing that can turn even the loveliest of bathrooms into one of those rooms you fall out of love with. So, tackle it from the offset in a new design. We’ll make sure you’ve got plenty of space for all those tubes and tubs. The smallest of cabinets can hold a surprising amount of these sorts of products. Save any open storage  areas that we might suggest in your design for things you really love to see out and about!

Lighting. Bright lights are great for doing your makeup or trimming your beard but don’t create the ambiance you’d want for relaxing. We’ll look at the lighting practicalities for your space, but it might be a case of thinking about smart bulbs or illuminated cabinets that can create a more layered lighting effect.

Mirrors. There are some fantastic mirrors in our ranges and these are an absolute must in any new bathroom design. Mirrors help reflect light around the room and enhance the presence of any wall colour, splashback or tile choices.

Space. Wall hung toilets and basins can make a room look more spacious and create less dark corners. They are easy to clean around and look contemporary and modern. However, we specialist in fully fitted, modular or a combination of both looks if that’s what you prefer.

Get your green ON. The trend for houseplants isn't’ showing any sign of letting up any time soon and some species thrive in the damp, warm climate of a bathroom, so get creative. They can be used as a focal point to complement your design or hung for a jungle look.

Materials. You might have an idea of the look and materials you’d like to see included in your design. But right now the trend for a natural approach is strong. Stone, marble, wood and slate looks (which don’t necessarily mean you have to use the actual material as there are some great replica finishes available) will give you that connection back to the natural world and a feeling of wellness by their very presence.
